You can create a template!
Create a project and delete all the tracks you don't want, then save it
as template (.mpt).
If it doesn't save it as mpt, but as a normal mmpz (it does it to me),
then just rename it, I think it should be good.
Then, you have to create a new directory in your main directory (the
first directory in the setting), calling it "templates".
Restart LMMS, now you should see the template in the second icon at top
left (next to the "new project" icon).
If you are on windows, you may just go here: C:\Program
Files\LMMS\data\projects\templates (or similar folder) and place you mtp
there. I don't know what's the directory on linux.
(I'm running 1.0.92)
Post by Lean RadaIs there a way to create a new project (Ctrl + N) without the 4 tracks
and the kicker in the beat editor? I always delete those when I start
a new project, and it seems right to make a new project blank at the
start.
