I'm not positive about this, but I believe even the "free" ones aren't
free, since you still need to install the Kontakt software to get them to
play.
Kontakt lists as supporting VST, so from what I can understand you'd be
using a VST to load an NKI.
Also note that this may never work on Linux, since the Kontakt software
would first need to be fully compatible with Wine.

I've been wondering how well native instruments ties into lmms. I'm gonna
look into that soon, I'll let you know what I find out.
